Tanning lotion for... MICE?!?!

Mice With Tans? Eeeeeek!
National Geographic Kids
By Catherine Clarke Fox
Scientists did not just make a lotion to make you tan just to look nice they made it to help prevent skin cancer. They made a lotion that turns a very pale skinned mouse into a very day skinned mouse. People with pale skin and red hair get sunburn more often and if you get sunburned too much in your life you could get cancer. Also pale skin does not make enough melanin.
I believe that this is a great break through that could save many lives in the future of course. The lotion might only be safe for the mice not actual human skin. I am wondering if this is 100% safe for humans or animals.

Buoy Data

If you look at the website that I explored you can see the latest reportable waves.

A buoy is a buoyant thing you put in the water that tests to see if there is a big wave or a tsunami. The places that they had the least amount of buoys were, of course because they did not need them, in Antarctica. Also there were very few by Africa and Asia. I believe that the most buoys are in the ring of fire because a disturbance in the floor could very well start a big wave or a tsunami and that would be very dangerous. They also have many by England because they drill there and the drill causes waves. I believe that the waves would be highest around the ring of fire because it is quite large and it is a quick start to a new wave with just one little shake. Also it is cold and has high atmospheric pressure. I think the part of the world that would have the lowest waves would just be to the West of India because there is no extraordinary problem there.
I believe this system of buoys would be very helpful for scientists to see if there could be an oncoming tsunami, or there could be day by day a pattern in the waves in one area and that could open up to new studies.
